Guide to Bathtub Care.

  • Do not leave wet wash cloths, soap, or shampoo bottles on the surface of the bathtub.
  • Wipe down your bathtub after each use. By removing the excess water you will be saving cleaning time later.

• Cleaning Instructions •

  • Soap scum and lime deposits can be almost invisible on a nelwy glazed bathtub, so it's important to have a regular weekly schedule to clean your bathtub.
  • Never use abrasive cleaners when cleaning your bathtub. These will cause scratches and stains in the tub.
  • There are a number of bathroom cleaners that work fine on your newly glazed bathtub. Here are a few that we have found to do a good job:
    • Lysol Basin Tub and Tile Cleaner
    • Dow Bathroom Cleaner
    • Fantastik Bathroom Cleaner
• Proper Use of Bath Mats •
  • It is VERY important to remove the bath mat after each use.
  • Never hang the bath mat over the tub apron.
  • Use only the special non-suction type mat that will not damage the synthetic porcelain.
  • Do not use stick-on strips or flowers. These will damage the tub.

The synthetic porcelain on your tub is very durable. However, if you accidentally damage the tub there is a $75.00 minimum charge to repair the damaged area. Or you can buy porcelain touch-up, paint seal the damaged area. If this is not done, water can work it's way under the glaze and the tub will start to peel. Proper care of your reglazed bathtub will ensure that you will have a bright and shiny tub for many years to come.
